30 Dec Favorite Finds of 2023

I always love to look back on the things that brought me joy, actually worked, and were worn to death at the end of the year. I think it helps with making good buys later and knowing what will be worth your carts in 2024.

1. This mask has sold out multiple times and it is because it is amazing. Tightens skin and lifts everything up / 2. Stephanie Izard is making the BEST chili crunch that is good on everything / 3. These riding boots have a little western to them and amazing quality for the price / 4. I posted this cashmere t-shirt sweater before, but it is worth another mention. go to cashmere for such a great price / 5. A good quality faux leather pant is hard to find. These Commando pants drape beautifully and the fabric is not plastic-y / 6. Clean mascara from Ilia that lengthens and plumps I keep buying again and again / 7. This lip mask WORKS / 8. Westman atelier is making the most gorgeous make up, this highlighter gives you such a great glow / 9. Maeve Culottes from Anthro are all around the best pant and come in a ton of colors/ 10. Holy Grail one piece that sucks you in and doesn’t dig in anywhere / 11. If you are going to buy one thing from Vuori, it is these boyfriend joggers. Not too tight. Good for lounging and a class / 12. Cut off Jean shorts that are age appropriate and perfectly distressed  / 13. Like a total nerd I wear these Bala Bands on walks with the dog and it makes it an actual workout. / 15. My entire bathroom is now stocked with Necessaire, but this body cream is the best part. The texture and the way it melts in is heaven / 16. These Cloudmonsters are SOOO comfortable for walks and work outs.

Barrington Youth and Family Services will be having the annual fundraising gala on Saturday, April 22. This event is not only the an incredibly fun time it is for a wonderful cause! If you have not gotten your tickets yet, you can buy them here. The theme this year is circus, so the inspiration for your outfit is endless. Think bright colors, polka dots, feathers, tulle, stripes, balloon, and sequins, really you can do anything with a little fun and whimsy! After I got so much feedback on sunscreen from my recent stories of the Sun Bum FAIL, I thought I would share my go to, never-fail-me, worth every cent sun products. Who knows why I strayed, but I certainly won’t again. These all are items I purchase again and again with no burns in site. 

1. I keep this hand cream in my car since I live in it to protect and moisturize my hands. Has great anti-aging properties too. / 2. This body lotion is not super waterproof, but great for a little shimmer poolside or to swipe on for an outdoor party. / 3. This glow screen for face has a great slight shimmer to add to you favorite moisturizer. / 4. This spray never fails me with the kids and lasts a long time in water / 5. This face stick for kids sells out and is hard to find! I love it because you can swipe on even while they are IN the pool. / 6. This jug of sunscreen is worth the investment. Stick in your mudroom for easy slathering before you leave the house. / 7. I have been buying this swipe on mineral sunscreen for years and have never burned. It is the MOST water/sweatproof formula period and worth every penny. / 8. I wear this tinted sunscreen every single day over my face oil. Just enough coverage and has lots of good ingredients for your skin. / 9. I was impressed with this gradual tan lotion to a little glow on vacation. Will be purchasing more for sure.
